every time i try to load a flight in fs9, i get a out of memory error complaining about the hard drive, which has 20.1 gigabytes free (out of 40, yes, it sucks), which is certinly not full. i have seen this topic somewhere bofore, i can't find it though. "Please, Please Help Me"

.. it will be referring to Virtual memory or Paging file ......increase it's value a see what happens. It is a part of the HDisk set aside and used as Ram when needed so if you run out of Ram AND Virtual memory you will get the error...commoner. ;)

....if you can't find it....ask again. It's  inside system properties.

thanks, but the problem just disappeared, without a restart or anything! i have incressed the paging file to the max in the past though, so that is a bit useless in my case. you are a helping hand once again commoner! 3-4 times before you've saved me before!

Often those "out of memory errors" are caused by bad scenery
BGL's. I've had a few recently.

Another cause is the scenery.cfg file being messed up....the numbering
gets out of sequence somehow, usually when your are adding
scenery and moving entries up or down in the list.
