Gerrish's Trees

Postby FLYING_TRUCKER » Mon Oct 16, 2006 12:43 pm

Can someone give me a link to the FS 2004 site for "Gerrish's Trees" please.

When I checked out Gerrish"s Trees at Bush Flying Unlimited I found they were not as up todate as the files in FS 2004.

Also would you comment on whether you think the download is going to make a difference and do you have any other recommended downloads you think I would enjoy.

I fly basic general aviation bugsmashers in FS 2004 at around 3000 ft.

Any comments welcome. :)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

You are right, Doug....!

The ones you listed are the latest ones, and work fine in FS 2004, (as they did in FS 2002!).
Excellent set of trees, especially when selected to Autumn, (Fall), time of the year. Lovely golden foliage which brightens up the scenery... ;D...!

Cheers both... ;)...!

Paul...always happy climbing trees.... 8)...!

To this day I have never been able to make his trees work, or at least not in my addon scenery-a lot of big white blocks staring at me at otherwise good addon airports.

Give me an example & I'll check it out. Should be easy enough if you have the correct files & follow the instructions.

...my set of Gerrish's trees replace the complete set of default trees*, so his trees always appear in all my scenery...;)...

Paul...;D...!

* The original default trees are saved in a spare folder...(just in case)....;)...!

Thanks for the offer Doug, but I'm no stranger to to addons-I've followed instructions step-by-step exactly and something goes wrong every time.  I'll just deal with it, I tried rooting this out long ago.

Wow those trees are wonderful...very nice.

Now at what frame rate should I be running at, right now I am at 24 and I have everything set to as high as possible.

I am also using a Radeon 9200 Series Display adapter and I have 1024 Megabytes of installed memory.

My local drive volume is 120.00GB with 68.69 GB free.

About the only thing this computer is used for is FS 2004 and this forum.
I do have the new
FS X installed but no downloads and have not used it yet.

If anyone has any suggestions for my settings please let me know as I am very very new at this type of thing. :)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
