DM Sounds Crash My System

In the FAQ he writes:

"Q: Why do I get sound corruption and/or system crashes when using your engine sounds?
A: You probably have an Audigy 2 ZS sound card. Something in either the sound card itself or the drivers for it has a major fault. The sounds work fine with other sound cards and have done for years. It is not only my sounds causing sqeals and crashes, I've now seen similar forum posts involving four other FS developers. Latest news: Apparently some have found the latest drivers from Creative do now cure the problem."

I have a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS with the latest drivers but I still get the crashes. Does anybody with an Audigy 2 ZS also get the crashes or knows how to fix it?

Smells awfully like they never solved that PCI latency stuff since the first SB Live.

Anyway, KXProject works OK unless you want EAX3 which doesnt work on that

I searched the forums. I tried the KXProject drivers but they didn't work for me. One thing that fixes it is lowering the sound quality to "medium", but it sounds much worse. I bought a sound card to have better audio, not worse.
