Real Environment Pro

Has anyone tried this program?  I downloaded it and it looks pretty interesting but was hesitant to try it.  Please post favorable or unfavorable options.  Thanks, Todd

I love it.

Just try it. It backs up your current files so you have nothing
to lose.

Its not ground textures.  Its water textures, sky textures (NOT CLOUDS!), envmap, runway/taxiway textures, runway lights, and a detail1.bmp.  Its incredible, but its not ground textures, so it should have no effect on GE Pro (besides detail1.bmp)

I tried it, but was not happy with the ocean water textures.  Everything else was great, especially the runway textures, so I'm using everything except water.

I downloaded it, but can't get it to work for some reason.  The buttons to back up existing textures and replace textures don't work for some reason.

It's awesome-I'm using everything except the reflective textures, which I feel were grossly overdone.

I installed it and agree that it makes for a large improvement.  I think the reflections are a bit much, I dont use them.  Dont forget to add the lights section in the fs9.cfg to get the most out of the product.  Anyone know where the backup folder it is located, and if you dont use the REP files, will it automatically use the default?  Todd
