Hi Gonza, your computer has slightly better specs than mine
(Celeron 2.93Ghz, 512Mb RAM, GeForce 5200 with 128Mb) and I don't have any problems. If you are having problems can you tell us what exactly is happening?
cheers

Your configuration's brute CPU power is satisfying enough to warrant you a discreet use of FS9, but you SHOULD at least double your memory.

The memory is very important under FS9, and even if 512Mb are not bad, 1GB is better.

PS
For FSX, if you'll adopt it, you'll need at least 4 time you memory and a new, more powerful videocard, but you can forget the max details unless you put in a AMD Athlon64 4800 at the very least.
There's but one real cure for human stupidity. It's called DEATH.

SInce you HAVE the program and the computer...... try installing it and play with it.   ;)  Adjust the settings to get the best compromise between flyability and visual details.

best,
