FS9 Time Sync

Postby twisterkid » Sat Sep 23, 2006 10:36 am

Hey everybody,

I had a quick question regarding a utility I could find that updates the time in FS9 and syncs it to real life. I've noticed that even when you check "sync with computer time" in FS9, it still falls behind. Freeware only. Thanks!!

i would like to find something like this also. I will now watch this topic with interest as i like to fly real time.

This is also required when crossing Pacific or Atlantic Ocean. I fly on VATSIM only, and the exact time is needed for position reports.

The only program I can think of is FSREALTIME but it is payware. Without registering it you can only use it for a short time. A word of warning if you use the slew or the speed increase options it will mess up fsrealtime and it wil reload the entire scenery every time so keep away from the 2x 4x options.
But this program will keep up with the time zone changes as you fly so if you fly a flight from JFK to SEA the times will be correct when you arrive. 8)
