Favorite a/c and flight level

Postby Sullyvan » Mon Sep 18, 2006 3:24 pm

"Longest flight time" was really interesting. May I ask about favorite a/c and flight level?  Mine is 2-3000 ft in a GOOSE and land in everything but a puddle.

I usually fly the PMDG 747 or the Level D 767 and fly anywhere between FL200 and FL380.

Providing that I dont collect too many tree leaves in the wheel spats on my trusty Cessna 152, I'm quite happy hugging the ground... ;)...!

The fastest thing I can get and as low as I can get it  ;D The Alphasim B-1B at 50 AGL in the Californian deserts it always fun. Sometimes I enjoy the slower planes at low altitudes, but not too often  ;)

Among the liners: iFly 744. Flight level: as high as it's practicable.

Among the GA: the Christen Eagle 300HP. Flight level: as low as it's practicable (being practicing aerobatics for a while now).

New entry: Piaggio 149. nice plane, though not usable for aerobatics as even a time limited inverted flight is impossible.

Thinking to get: SAAB 91 Safir. I like it.

I like "Bush" flying in remote areas, so my favorite is the DHC 2 Beaver, "low and slow". Depends on the terrian but, usually no higher the 1500.

...after spending years improving the quality and detail of my FS 2004 scenery, it always seems to me to be a total waste of all my efforts, (and Uncle Bill's efforts), flying a Jumbo Jet at 50,000+ feet AGL...:o...!
