Well for starters if you had looked in your fs folder you would have noticed that there was allready a folder named fsfconv it is located inside of the aircraft folder so if you put another one in the root folder you are confusing FS. Simplay place the contents of the new fsfconv inside of the orignal folder and then delete the other folder. That should solve your problem.
If you get a message about an existing file BE CAREFULL IF YOU REPLACE THE OLD FOR THE NEW IT MIGHT CREATE ANOTHER PROBLEM  8)

I recently downloaded this Dash8/300 twin prop aircraft. I installed the aircraft to the aircraft folder and placed the other folder named "fsfconv" in the aircraft folder as well. The fsfconv folder contains the panel and sound file for this Dash 8-300 aircraft.

if you had looked in your fs folder you would have noticed that there was already a folder named fsfconv

Note that the existing default folder is named fsfsconv. Try pasting the new Dash8 panel & sound folders in there. If it's not a typo & you created a new folder with a different name I suspect that explains the problem.

If ya give it a chance, don't let the GPWS scare you when you make eratic turns in her! It has that creepy alarm and voice warning system that comes out of no where when you are flying too low or banking too deep! :o
