Anyone current on real C150s?

Postby RollerBall » Wed Sep 20, 2006 5:23 am

I've just tweaked the FDE of the C150 that I did some screenies of the other day and it's pretty much how I remember the C150s I flew. But that was a long time ago....

It now stalls properly (even drops a wing if you're not careful), seems to climb at about the right rate and rpm, does a loop if you take it to vne and pull the stick back (naughty naughty - only aerobats should be looped  ;) ) and 'feels' pretty close to the real thing to me.

Anyone got the plane or who can download it and is ALSO current on real C150s want to try the tweaked air/cfg files out?

As it's such a nice little plane I'm going to be editing the panel and stuff and doing some liveries as well so I want the whole package to be right. See link below

Did you come here today to ask rhetorical questions? ;D

While I can only speak for myself, I think that it's natural that the sim community would like to try out a better dynamics package for an all-in-all nice plane like the 150. ;)

Fire away. :)

There's but one real cure for human stupidity. It's called DEATH.

At the moment mourning the assassination of sarcasm and irony for the good of the "higher".
