Not as far as I know. I also like to mess around with some of the boats, trucks and cars available for FS9 and I have to change the realism settings every time. Of course it depends on what you want to change. Some flight characteristics are defined in the .cfg file for the airplane. You can adjust those if you want but be aware that adjusting one thing can lead to changes in another area of the flight envelope. Make small changes and test each one thoroughly before proceeding. Also back up your original file.



PS. BACK UP YOUR ORIGINAL FILE!!!  Just in case I need to repeat it.

MattNW is right about the aircraft .cfg file.

Click on it to open and when it says you can't open it without a program choose to open it with notepad. All the same files should be readable after opening the one in notepad.

When it opens you will see as you scroll down the page different areas that affect the A/C.

Once again copy the original .cfg(you really should have the original stored somewhere else anyway)

Determine before you start what you want to achieve and then look to the file area you need to adjust.

When you make a change you will have to restart FS for it to take effect. Once you have got a result date a copy and save it.

It can be annoying but once the .cfg is sorted to your satisfaction that A/C really is 'yours' every time you fly it.
