How to remove AI ac from planes list?

I have a load of AI aircraft and would like to remove them from the main aircraft list to speed up loading times.

I know that it can be done by a simple adition to the .cfg file but can't find anything on the search.

With the utility 'AirEd' open the *.air file for the ac. http://www.simviation.com/fsutilities_gen2.htm

Edit line '105 Aircraft Type=0'. Change the 0 value to 2.
