I didn't say the prototype was bad looking! I just said it wasn't the best. The Mk.IXe is my personal favourite, which IMO, looks a bit more sleek than the original, K5054.

Mmmm. For a Merlin I would tend to prefer the V and below, unless of course it was a low back ( !), Clipped wing ( !) Mk XVI!

It is pretty good, very nice to fly, sounds good.  Just lacks livery detail that's all.
