another noob question sorry

Ok another feature of FS9 i cant seem to use right is nav tie into GPS, how does this work, i went to the store and set the auto piolt to nav and when i came back i was way off course. What am i missing here? I do have a GPS course plotted

If you look on a default panel, you will see a nav/gps switch. If it's switched to GPS, the nav option on the autopilot will follow a GPS flightplan

ITs in a Boeing 747 default panel, where is this switch at?

See those three knobs above the HSI? It's the middle one ;)

alright ty, if i have anymore questions ill be sure to ask, i wish i had gone up through FS instead of from 98 to 2004. My friend didnt want his FS2000, FS002, or FS2004 anymore so just gave them to me. I've sure missed alot of stuff.
