Some airport...

Postby TheBod1357 » Tue Feb 21, 2006 10:55 am

Hey, what is the name of the airport (not sure even which country its in). it is the one where the final approach path brings planes extremely low over the beach, there have been pictures of it in the graphics gallery, but I havent caught the name yet. And I believe there is a scenery pack for it, but as I dont know what it is called I havent been able to find it, can someone tell me the name of this excellent airport?

Not to shoot you down, but on mine is fine. Yes, it's quite heavy on the frame rate sometime, but never under 12 fps at its worst.

Oddly enough, it runs just fine on my 5-year old rig. Strange, yes, but I'm not complaining. ;D

I know your talking about TNCM, but another airport with a low approach is Los Roques in Venezuela.

I would suggest following the instructions in the readme very carefully, or looking up one of the three gazillion scenery installation tutorials floating around ;)

I note a slow down with TNCM, mostly during taxi procedures, but I still maintain 20+ FPS, so TNCM is frequently a place I visit.  Much as I like the approach, I LOVE the eastbound departure with a commercial jet.
