FS 2004 checkride commercial jobpilot

Postby julamat3000 » Tue Feb 14, 2006 1:11 pm

Hi everybody,
my problem is the FS 2004 checkride commercial jobpilot.
It always ends at Harvey for me with the two mistakes:

1. You must put down gear while sinking
2. You must put pressure to 15 zoll

I always do this. But maybe at the wrong time.
Please help me in this case.

Best regards, Carsten

Hi and welcome to the SimV mad house ;D all the checkrides in flight sim are full of bugs and are harder than in real life. :o Most people don't bother with the checkrides because of this. I can't be any more helpful than that as I haven't bothered with the checkrides ;D ;D
If your not part of the answer    your part of the problem!
I've often wanted to drown my troubles, but I can't get my wife to go swimming.

Did the first one after lots of practise - no bugs there. ;D
I think people use FS2002 (which was full of bugs) as an excuse for not doing these.

Unfortunately I just don't have the time to go further on mine and when I do fly I want to do somethig fun. Today was the first time I had flown in 2 weeks - kinda says it all really.

The checkrides are very hard to pass but they can be passed.
But you have to be in the exact spot at the right time or forget it.
What I did was to make my own check ride just set up a flight and try to follow the landing procedure as best as you can without auto pilot if you can do this with out going all over the sky then you pass if not you need more practice.
if you can find an approach plate for a given airport follow the procedure that is on the chart try to cross the waypoints at the right altitudes and follow the course as given if you can keep you heading within + or - 10 degress and your altitude + or - 200 feet that is not all that bad try to keep your altitude witin 100 feet + or - than you nailed it. 8)
