Clipper, do you have the FS Update installed? And if so, did you uninstall it with the uninstall file contained in the update download, as recommended, before you tried to uninstall FS9 itself?
Can't believe that a problem on the scale you describe could be that simple. But I thought I'd mention the point, just in case it is..... :)



Clipper, just a couple thoughts...
Dont know if this might help, or maybe you've already got it..

Also, did/do you have any auto-install add-ons that have entries in the Control Panel>Add-Remove Programs. Maybe they could have registry entries tying up the FS9 removal.
