Trouble Uninstalling - Help!

Postby exnihilo » Mon Feb 06, 2006 10:24 am

Hi, I'm trying to uninstall FS9, then do a reinstall. I de-installed a plane (somebody's A340, I don't remember which). The rotten uninstaller for that plane deleted a number of the default gauges - Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Now I need to uninstall FS9 to restore the gauges. I've done all my backups, but when I go to uninstall, the "UNINSTAL.exe" isn't there. So now how do I go about uninstalling, or is there a way to just restore the default gauges?

To do the de-install, do I need to go into the registry editor?

The un-installer for FS 2004 is on Disk no 1...
Insert the disk and select "Un-Install"...
...the safest, and complete  way to do it... ;)...1

Wait, if I use disk one to uninstall, will that fix the fact that I cannot view the kneeboard and cannot fly any of the selected flights?

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
