Help for 3 day old newbie

Several times while flying my screen goes blank and FS  2004 is minimized and I'm back to my windows screen.  I click on FS 2004, it comes back up but in paused play.  I can then resume flying.  Any suggestions?

Glad to hear everyone was thinking the same thing as me

Well, prgrams randomly minimizing is usually due to some kind of adware or spyware ads popping up while the program is running.  I'd run programs like adaware and spybot search & destroy regularily (or programs like it).

Or this could have a much simpler solution and I missed something

Other programs running in the background usually cause this.
If you have any kind of a automated weather program like weather bug or something else running try turning it off before you fly.

I notice that Norton or AVG anti-virus programs suddenly sending an automatic update will cause the sim to close down to the Taskbar... ...!
(Clicking on the FS program in the taskbar will open it up again)......!
