A death in the family along with complications created by the event absorbed my attention and my mood. I will complete and release the project as soon as I can.
As for available x64 drivers... all of mine have been available for about a year. Since the drivers have been around for awhile I decided to give x64 a whirl. So far it has not dissapointed me.

My current FS9 only system has 3.2GHz Intel Pent 4 LGA 775 socket so I assume a new CPU and motherboard would be required to upgrade to windows x64?
In your case I would wait for Windows Visa which I believe is backwards compatible (x64 or x32)

That's what I read about today, Windows Vista is going to come in 32 and 64 bit.
Is my system ready when windows Vista x64 comes out?
I do not know the answer to that. From what I remember there are 64bit 3.2GHz Intel Pent 4 LGA 775 socket processors. You will need to run the serial number of the processor online to find out.
Your motherboard manufacture should also specify if your motherboard model is strictly 32bit, 64bit or 64bit and support 32bit CPU's.

I did some research today and found out my motherboard does support both 32 and 64 bit but my Processor isn't 64 bit ready
The processor I have now is an:
Intel Pentium 4 540J Prescott 800MHz FSB LGA 775 Processor
Model BX80547PG3200EJ
The motherboard I have is a Asus P5AD2-E
Can you recommend or suggest me a 64 bit compatiable processor (Intel brand please) ?
