Annunciator warning light Question

On an annunciator I have, a light is abreaviated as CG. What does CG stand for? The Master Warning light on the panel stays on. Thanks, Wildie.

Probably Centre of Gravity
It means that the CG is outside of the MAC (mean aerodynamic chord) boundary.


Try moving some cargo/fuel either more aft of forward to solve the problem  :)

yes, CG is center of gravity, and it does mean you have too much fuel, pax, cargo, or a combonation of these. distribue the wight in the weight management to where the CG icon is in the middle of the aircraft.

And the consequences of a misplaced CG is quite brutal, since it can (or it does) have dire effects on pitch control.

FORWARD (wrote aft earlier...typo  :-[) CG mean that the arm is too long, and LOTS of stickforce is required. Sometimes you wont even be able to get the aircraft off the ground

Center of Gravity... I would never had thought that!! Yes ,I did remove all the passingers. And I was having a hard time getting off the ground. I wonder if I replace the weight with fuel? I'll try that out or let the other people back on my plane.(It's an Antonv 224).  Thanks All. Wildie
