Help!

Postby Midwest_Aviation » Sat Jan 28, 2006 10:12 am

When running SF Sky World, the game will not start up, infact the game will not start up at all! the loading screen pops up for 4 seconds and then just closes...now I cannot play FS and I am really upset!

If anyone could help I would be very appreciative!

Hey, you never installed it in the FS9 root folder did you?
You can't install it in there. ;D

Try deleting your FS9.cfg file. When you restart FS, this file will be automatically rewritten. It is a good starting point for a none starting sim.

So you hadn't played FS before you did all that? :o
I'd suggest your problem lies elsewhere and the fact that when you uninstalled it it did not help convinces me.

Midwest - I'd be really surprised if it was FS Sky World, unless you are installing it in the FS9 folder - are you?

No, I installed it in C://FS Skyworld 2004

it's the 1.0 version, this did happen before i reformatted and i just restarted the computer and then it was fine.  But no not this time.  I don't know if It was something to do with the FS9 patch I installed ?

I am running the same version as you and seeing as it is an automatic installation there are few areas where it can go wrong.
Maybe someone else can help.

EDIT: Oh well you have FS back now. ;)  ;D
