Vilk's Water help me please

i am using Vilk's Water textures and the look real good problem is they only look good for about 30 to 40 miles around my aircraft then look real bad (cartoonish)
is there anything i can do in settings or cfg. to extend the good texture.

Best thing to do is to reduce the visibility, as in real life. Try to set it between 20-40 miles.
