Sometimes hitting the dash can help fix problems. It sometimes works in my car ;D

Never downloaded it so i'm not sure ;)

Without downloading the aircraft, I can't look at it, but to help eliminate the most obvious, open up the aircraft.cfg file.

look for the '[autopilot]' section. Is it there, and enabled?

Spend enough time here, and you will see we like to have a good time. Life is stressfull enough, so we try not to be too serious around here too much ;D

Some FS9 aircraft have an A/P Master switch although I don't see it in your  panel.cfg file.

never mind everyone, i fixed the problem;D! i erased the entire [Auto pilot] section from Aircraft.cfg of the CRJ-600-200 and replaced it with a copy of the [Auto pilot] section of a plane i know that works! and the A/P activated.
