More FS9 trouble...

Postby mojavepilot » Sat Dec 31, 2005 11:33 am

I am having more trouble with my FS9 again.  It's probably due to the large number of add-on planes I added in a short amount of time.  Most of my add-on planes textures look great and are high detail, while for some reason all of my default aircraft look blury.  I changed a few settings to attain better frame rates, but went back and set them back to default one at a time to hopefully fix the problem.  No such luck.  Can anyone help me?  I shall demonstrate my problem with the following screenshots.
My C195 looks great:

While my C182 looks...not so good:

The following default aircraft are blury:ALL OF THEM and my add-on-B737 Experience, My de Havilland Mosquito, Boeing Stearman, Grumman Goose, Locheed Electra and Super Connie, etc...

The only clear aircraft I have are my: P47, Corsair, Hawker Hurricane, Spitfire, and C195.  Does anyone know what might casue this?  Thanks in advance for any help.

Nevermind I fixed it.  I went through my settings and hit reset defaults on everything.  Works great now.  I guess my framerates will have to suffer.

That looks like a problem I had.  What kind of graphics card do you have?  My old one overheated, and everything was messed up

I had the same trouble only a couple of weeks ago (you should have done a search!). It's something to do with MIPS. They are mainly used in the default AC but rarely on decent addons it seems, see my thread here>
