If you can afford it, get a 200gb hard drive. When I first built my computer, I thought a 15gb hard drive would be plenty of room. Of course, this was back in 1999.
An additional 4gb hard drive was sufficient for a while, but then a few years ago, I bought a 60 gb hard drive. I thought, "Tthat's big enough. What could I possibly fill that much space up?". Wrong again, I've got about 8 gigs free, and I struggle between large games, programs, and audio and video editing.
So, next time I rebuild my computer, instead of buying a hard drive that's only slightly larger, i'm probably going to buy a 200 gb hard drive. Now it may seem ridiculous now, but in a few years, I bet it won't
