Wing Lights

How do you reduce the intensity of the wing lights on an aircraft.

I have modified my fs9cfg file to reduce light intensity at on the airport runway lights, it must be a simple change for the wing lights.

Any clues?

I know there's a few downloads out there to do this. Also you can look around in the aircraft .cfg to see if you can find it there. I know I saw a download here to do this.

Hope this helps.

The wing lights are normally controlled by effects files, as seen in the [lights] section. Microsoft provides files of two different intensities for a number of these; e.g. navwhi and navwhih for ordinary and higher intensity white navigation light effects. It would be possible to reduce the intensity even further, which would require an edit of the appropriate effects file.
