:(Hi, I have a really nice fs2004 model but unfortunately it does not include a Virtual Cockpit. I would really like to make a VC for the model but I am not sure if you can once the mdl has been "compiled" I have some hex editors handy if need be. I just can

There are MANY  (100's) of freeware aircraft with great VC's.

Making a VC is not an option unless you are already an acomplished designer & have the source file.

Perhaps if you let us know what kind of aircraft you wish to have wityh a good VC someone can make a recommendation.

I hate to say Pete is right, once a plane is compiled you can not add a vc to it unless you have the orignal source code the author used to make the plane with. And then you have to really know what you are doing as making a vc is not that simple. 8)

I have some hex editors handy if need be.


I've heard that if you know what you're doing, you can remove a VC with a hex editor, but not add one
