When only one smiley is necessary, use only one smiley.

Could someone get the link to the thread that contained the links to the other 3,000 threads about this?

My bad.  I was trying to put up that link and must have mis-copied and mis-pasted.

Does everyone still have their FS10 wish list on their system's clipboard, and ready to paste into another FS10 thread? ;D

I really don't understand why people pines so much for the next version instead to fly and enjoy the one they have. ::)

FS10 will be here when it will be here. May you have fair weather and nice winds in all your flights, real and simulated.

Merry Christmas and happy New Year. :D

Personally I see the arrival of fs2006 as the need to spend another couple of hundred quid on upgrades just to get it to work.

And until the Gods of the white magic box that lives under my desk get into top gear, being stuck with stock aircraft and senary that MS have only made a half arsed attempt at before the $$$$$ start to appear in Big Bills eyes,

I have to agree with almost everyone here.  What is the rush that some people have for FS10?  Have these people done everything they can do with FS9?  If they have, then the bad news is that they will be done with FS10 just as quickly once it does get released.

I have also noticed that the people who keep asking for FS10 usually request new features in the new version that already exist in FS9 as freeware or payware (such as specific aircraft, scenery packages and other add-ons), instead of requesting that FS10 be a better piece of software that takes advantage of the hardware advances made lately (such as SLI graphics card, 64-bit application, multi-threaded for dual core CPUs, etc).  This just goes to prove that the inpatient ones haven't explored everything in FS9 yet.

I don't mean to insult anyone.  All I am saying is look into what else your sim can do for you and what you can do for your sim, and you'll realize that you too can wait for FS10.   :D

You are quite right, but it is the nature of the beast and why computer games, simulations, computers, consumer electronics are always getting better and faster. Some people want to have the next level, standard, model. These are the people that fuel our ability to have a 747 or a Wright Flyer on our computer desks. How long would you all have stuck it out with FS2 on a ZX SPectrum?

If it's the only thing we had that came close to a flight simulator, I would use it ;)
