I have three error reports which regularly pop-up...!
Weather.dll
Panel.dll
Mod.dll
All of which will sometimes re-set the program when changing planes in flight......!

Ah, now we're getting somewhere. I've seen similar problems reported in the past & a search on Google quoting these DLL files might well turn up the answers. For example; the weather.dll error - are you using Real Weather? This might well be the cause of the problem so try it with the default weather instead. I believe some of these errors are either caused or can be fixed by FSUIPC. I don't use it myself so have no way of knowing but it might give you an idea of where to start looking.
PS. I have a fresh install of FS9 & mod.dll & panel.dll are nowhere on my hard drive. This can only confirm my suspicion that these errors are caused by an addon of some kind.
