Eugene Heyart has been working on a new version of his Turbo Otter, the Turbo Otter NG.  On his website he said it will be released before christmas!  Expect to see more rusts planes soon

I love the idea of the Radial Engined Otter.
The old PW-R-1340 was a bit underpowered but a good engine.
I would hope the carb heat and everything will be looked at in this new model.

It would also be nice to see the aircraft DHC-3 (radial engined Otter) on amphibious floats and wheel/skis.

Well, originally he was going to release the Turbo NG and Radial together as a package called "Past and Future", But I guess he couldnt wait any longer with the NG.

And it is WONDERFUL!  Not only is the model good looking, it flies like a DREAM, sounds AMAZING!  If deHavilland ever makes this for real, it will be the ULTIMATE bush plane.  Takes off short, cruises at 220KIAS @ 10,000ft, range of 3500km, stops on a dime, just perfect!  This is simply the best of all worlds, excellent in the bush, great for regular flying, and after about 10min, my favorite plane EVER!
