New drivers=end of problems

Postby FridayChild » Sat Dec 03, 2005 5:47 pm

Remember my problems with the frame rate on some default sceneries (namely Honolulu Intl.)?
Well, after installing the latest Asus/NForce based drivers (8.1) the problem is solved. I'm well above 50 fps now, while it was 12/13 before.
Sometimes updating is the problem; this time updating was the solution.  :)

Yep, I've done the exact same thing a few times. These were the chipset drivers right? For me it was causing stuttering from h*ll. Frames rates would go from 2-3 to 50 back down to 2-3. Chipset drivers fixed it though, somehow. ;)

In my case it was the video drivers (sorry, I meant "Forceware"). Big difference there. Now my system behaves like it should... great.  :)

I see. Either way, it's good that you got it fixed. ;)
