Slow..

My FS is goin very very slow.

Specs are:

2.53ghz pentium 4
512mb of memory
80gb hard drive
64mb extreme intel graphics


41/69 portion being used

It should run this slow, but it is. Any help?

The planes run slow. 1-4FPS..

787-8/9

Um, new graphics card?  Thats the only reason I see.  A 64MB integrated graphics chip isn't enough

If you have an AGP slot, get atleast a 128MB 6600GT, or a 6800GT if your budget can extend that far.  Also for memory another 512MB of the right speed to match what you already have in there will do. ;)

With those specs it's most likely you motherboard won't be handle anything more powerful.

The motherboard is probably limited to a 2.6 GHz processor, and the AGP port is also probably limited to AGP 4X. With AGP 4X you won't get anywhere near the max performance, that such a card as the GeForce 66/8 can give.

So.. A whole new system, would be MY advice. Pricy, but I think it's the best way.
