I think anywhere where the land has been smashed.., i.e. there are lots of islands. One can go Island hopping and it can give a wealth of views. It all depends on where you like to fly. Some folk like to see mountains and others like to see low-lying coastal places...

It's always brought up around here, or at least it used to be, but Switzerland is always pretty. Locarno is nice, a nice big lake with big rolling hills, and there's tons of airports nearby, and not just the lame grass strip. Usually it's a paved runway with a Tower. Try it out.
Then again, if you like the more coastal scene, Florida Keys and Bahamas are nice, turquoise water.
