The right rwy

Postby dsmz » Mon Nov 21, 2005 3:43 pm

I was wondering if there is a way to get atc to use the right rwy for the wind direction. (eg: airport has three rwys, wind is 280/15 and there is a rwy 28 but atc will not give you that rwy for this eg: it gives you rwy34)

Can this kind of thing be fixed??

Thanks

Are you sure the runway that the ATC ignores isn't closed for takeoff/landing?

Depending on the airport, in the ATC window, there should be an option to ask for another runway.
