...you frikkin' lot are winding me up, as usual...!

I save my default flight as "Half Moon Bay"...
..and the default FS 9 Boot-up ALWAYS loads up as Seattle-Tecoma...!
..so don't give me grief, and always present me with "Seattle-Tacoma" each time I load up FS 2004...!
I want to see "Half Moon Bay" on my trusty monitor EVERY time I boot up my trusty Version of FS 2002....
...NOT Uncle Bill's Seattle-Tacoma...
...Please..!
LOL...!

Not so Paul, Honest. Try my method & set the flight up, click Fly Now & then after it loads save the flight from Flights/Save Flight on the FS9 menu bar. Give it an appropriate name [Cessna 150 at Half Moon Bay] or whatever so you know what it is & check that "Make this the default flight box" before saving it. If for some reason that doesn't work read Roger's comments.

Well Paul I can only think there's something you're not doing right. Did you try selecting your saved flight from Select a Flight, checking (ticking) that default option & resaving it as Roger mentioned? If I had FS9 installed to this machine I'd do it for you & send you the file. ::)

The other alternative .......... start the flight of your choice then hit ; ........ name the flight and tick the save as default box . It's the only way its ever worked for me.

Not to but in BUT if you open your fs9 cfg file and scroll down to the line that reads
Situation=
Just put in the following C:MYSAVEDFLIGHTS/halfmoonbay
And that is it.
Mind you this assumes that your flight is on your c drive and in the mysavedflights folder if not just use the correct folder.
