Hey, we posted at the same time. LOL

Seriously, this thread is OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD

As for the moving trees and catering trucks, we already have those. I've seen several FS9 addons that utilize moving trees and there are some addons out there [some payware] that now provide service vehicles. ;D

I reckon the graphics for landscape has never been very good for flight simulator. Could be better, shouild be better for next one
Now if something goes without saying, then why do people say it??

I was going through the forums and I found this thread. This one is even more ancient.

One of the members in the thread has been here since '02 and only has 2 post counts. ::)

What would make it the best sim ever? picture this: it comes with a real airplane, and through an overly complicated sytem of ropes an pulleys, you actually get to fly the airplane. The graphics would be so realistic, it would almost be like the real thing, only with ropes and pulleys! :P Don't ask where that came from, it's my first night on third shift and I've been up for 20 hours, so everything is funny.

I can't imagine having to control a concorde with ropes and pullies. ::)

It'll probably require up to ten people to pull a series of ropes just to turn one aileron. ;D

No more vintage planes!! Here's a list of aircrafts i would like to see in fs 2006:

AIRBUS
A318
A319
A320
A321
A330
A340
A380

BOEING
757
767
777-200
777-200ER
777-300
777-300ER
777-200LR

Is there REALLY the need for 5 variations of 777? I think not...

Plus, where are the GA aircraft?

i dont like all the vintage planes. They shouldnt include them in the next one.

They should have the following (my opinion):

Airbus - a320, a340, a380
Boeing - 737, 747, 777, 787
Embraer - 170
Cessna - same as now
Learjet - same as now

stuff like that.  ;D
Now if something goes without saying, then why do people say it??

If I've said it once, I've said it a billion times- Download the planes that you like. Also, they include vintage planes and GA stuff so that there is something for everyone. After all- this is a flight simulator, not just an airline simulator.

Yep.

Oh and also, why remove planes from the sim? I can't see why people have a problem with certain aircraft being included. If you don't like vintage planes, don't fly them. Simple.

Here's my idea, I know that this is primarily a FLIGHT simulator but the way programing and hardware is going I can invisage this for the future.

A fully interactive airport as well, ie. Once landed you can actualy get out of the cockpit, walk down the stairs, into the pilots briefing room, maybe even walk around on the apron, in the terminal building or go into the ATC tower for a chat!

You'd select your aircraft by seeing what's parked on the apron and walking up to it and getting in.

Anyone played DRIV3R? That sort of thing, you'd be able to interact with and control every vehicle that is on view. That would be cool, don't you think? Only problem is, we'd all get no sleep ever and decompose in front of our PC's! ;)

We already have something like that. It's called [if I can remember] Active Camera or Walk-Through Camera. Both Payware and made by the ADDON developers

I have to say this, but everything that a couple of you are asking already exist thanks to the addon developers. And if you want cars, here I am. For crying out loud, I'm making a chevy for a sim made for flying. I can't get anymore lifeless than that. ;D
