Markers again

Postby arthurfisher12 » Sat Nov 12, 2005 4:56 pm

Hi,

Thanks to you who have answered my previous marker question but the problem is still there. The outer, middle and inner marker will not flash up at all during an ILS approach.
The 3 marker lights are present in the cockpit of each aircraft but they won't flash up in any aircraft. Markers can't be set to failure in the failure settings, so there seems to be another problem.
Is there anyone out there who can help me?????

Thanks
Arthur

marker switch on the audio panel to on

That turns the audible "beep" on and off...  Not the lights themselves.

I've encountered a few runways, even ILS-ed runways with no marker beacons.. Does it happen on ALL ILS runways ?

I have never seen those markers working on any ILS-ed runway.

I have the same issue. In FS98 the markers were always active. Even when I overflew an airport at cruise altitude, they would turn themselves on.
In FS2004 ( I fly big jets and always land on ILS ) I have never seen them work so far!  ???
