Mooney Bravo instruments

Postby carleff » Sat Nov 12, 2005 12:22 pm

The Horizontal Situation Indicator has a yellow bar/arrow that can be rotated with the knob at the bottom left of the instrument. What is this?

In referring to the Autopilot controller, bottom of the Radio stack, there are two buttons, Up and Dn on the right hand edge. What are these for?

And, how can the time be changed on the digital clock on the left hand side of the panel? It is not set to the times selected in Settings.

Anyone, please?

The yellow knob, as stated, adjusts the course heading on th HSI.. which is, in effect, the OBS (VOR1 is built into the HSI). Instead of a needle deflecting ..  the center part of that "arrow" deflects when you're not on the selected radial (or localizer).
