Door won't open

Just a quick question. I go to press Shift E and the door dosen't open. In fact, the flaps won't go down either by pressing F7 and F8.

Any ideas?

check your assignments screen - settings -> controls -> assignments


hit the reset defaults button....


is your keyboard connected?


maybe some program open in background might be hogging your inputs...

Also check which sim the model is made for. Flaps are missing from some aircraft made for fS2002 in FS2004. You might also want to post which model it is so if others have had this problem they may know of a fix.

Usually however Shift+E works OK but Shift+E then 2 (secondary door) is a little buggy.

Yeah, I even tried with default aircraft. Nothing.

Oh well. I gave my computer a rest. I'll go try now.

What aircraft???? The default FS9 planes don't have opening doors as far as I know. Also, try the tailhook and wing fold commands, again, found in settings -> controls -> assignments.

I got it now. I had the demo of Walk and Follow installed, and that took the key assignments.
