Hi Daz1

Now I know why my signature has been shrunk to the size of a postage stamp. You are using it as your vivitar :-/ :-/ :-/

Hope you don't mind if I change back again!! If you want to use it, fine, but up load it with a different name please!!!

what is that??

He means the no-cd disk. SimV used to have it, but recently due to pressure from Microsoft Pete took it down. If you go to SimV site feedback there is a thread in there about it.

All of the feedback that this loon has are probably his other identities as well. Notice that the feedback is also dominated by capital letters and that they have verbose comments.

+++A1 PLUS+++ ???

I don't know how this guy manages it, but he can obviously create as many identities as he wishes without raising concern to the Ebay admin. This thief probably found a loop hole and is exploiting it. Doesn't providing a feebback require you to first BUY the product -which requires the use of a credit card- ? If so, then this guy must either be using the same card over and over without raising red flags, probably has bogus accounts, or is probably using hijacked accounts -aka stolen credit cards-. :-/

EDIT:

Addendum

How long do you think it will be before someone like him comes here to SimV and starts posting comments that are supportive to this thief?

I have to say, I usually believe that sending a virus to the guy was not my cup of tea. However, with this guy further selling like this and exploiting the hard work of our developers like that really makes me want to consider the "virus idea". :-/

But I think there are alternatives yet to explore.

Instead of sending a virus, I hope to god we don't have to do that, why not simply have Ebay change its policies regarding the sale of such items? For example, instead of using the old "suspend the seller" policy, why not have Ebay "ban" the sale of any flight simulator addon on Ebay? With enough people and pressure from our community, we can have Ebay do that.

We know we can't defeat people like him directly because they tend to be so resourceful, however, we can limit his options and defeat INdirectly through attrition:

If the FS communities were to send mass e-mails to E-bay, somebody would eventually break under the pressure :D

Theres the Aerosoft A-10 Thunderbolt, and the DSB-Sigma Harrier which i know the Aerosoft is payware.. and also Again Katahu's Enzo Ferrari is on the list  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Maybe one of the big boys will have interest in this guy. His auction has ended, so it is a little late to take action. I have bookmarked him and will keep an eye out for further offers, BUT it just so happens that I work next door to AeroSoft:o I am a regular visitor, mainly to drool over the avionic boxes that my wife will not let me buy (maybe read, can't really afford and she is being the sensible one). Next time that he appears on ebay with this disk, I can walk out the door, turn left, turn left again, up the stairs and I am in Aerosoft main office.

i have already emailed this guy, as one of the aircraft if the pictures, the lynx is actually mine, and completly copyrighted in the readme file you get with it, which states it MUST NOT be placed on any cdrom etc without permission

he replied saying the pic was for illistraton only, and the pic was taken by him

oooo how i laughed when i sent him the pic i took, looks familiar doesn't it!!!

Image

anyway, i have not heard any more from him, but since he was daft enough to show who had previously purchased it on his page, i have emailed them ALL asking them if my lynx is on the DVD;s and when i get a reply, i will be taking further action agaiinst him

i have already emailed ebay also, but i doubt it will make any difference
