Mirage III AB problem

Postby Henry_Yeh » Mon Sep 26, 2005 12:41 am

Just downloaded Jason Ashworth's Mirage III series. Supposedly it comes with AB, but somehow neither full throttle nor shift-F4 could ignite it. Any idea what's going on.
Obviously, I own FS2004, and not FS2002. Since this Mirage III was originally designed for FS2002, what changes do I need to make to make it truely FS9 compatible (working AB)?

Hi Henry

..........Not sure just which zip you downloaded..it's always best to say where you got it and the name of the zip file...when you need help.

If it was for fs2002 then did you get a message re. unsupported features when you tried to select the plane?...if so did you say "NO"

I you said yes you should look at  the..

[FrameCallNoWarn]
section of the FS9.CFG file.  Here you should  find the name of your plane and it needs to be   =1

..........make the change if neccessary and try again.

Here's my version which was also for 2002, don't know if this is like yours. it's called  Mirage_IIICZ2.zip
..cheers.commoner ;)

The file is Mirage_IIICJ.zip, downloaded it twice, first from Simviation, then mirage4fs. I did say No when prompted.
