Step 1) Full power
Step 2) Slightyly push forward on the joystick.

LANDING

Step 1) Pull BACK on the joystick a bit enough that you'll stop in the air.
Step 2) Slightly keep removing thrust until you get to ground.

Works for me  ;D

hovercontrol.com is the best. To really fly helicopters in flightsim you need to get rid of the deadzones in your joysticks. You can do this in the settings screen. Also if you use force feedback make sure that is off. Really sends false signals when you are flying a chopper. I love force feedback with airplanes even though it sure pulls alot harder than any plane I have ever flown!

Almost forgot. In your realism settings make sure that your general realism is set one notch back from full right. For some reason the helicopters seem to act funny with 100% genral realism but fine with 99%.

Wow, what a difference reducing the realism setting makes. I've been struggling with Helos for a long time and especially a beautiful Westland Seaking Mk48 which looks great but was almost impossible to fly. Not now!

Great tip!

Thanks Mobayrasta1
