If you dont already have it, download 'AirEd' ( an *.air file editor) here:
http://www.simviation.com/fsutilities_gen2.htm

After installing AirEd use it to open the .air file of the a/c you wish to change.

Find line '105-Aircraft Type=2'. Change the value to 0, the a/c will no longer show in the select aircraft list.

If this is a high detail flyable a/c, this action will not make the a/c any less demanding on frame rates(FPS).

To maintain good FPS it is best to download a/c modeled specifically for AI use.

The only career addon I'm aware of is the payware 'FSPassengers': http://www.fspassengers.com/. Maybe someone else knows of a similar freeware.

Dave

As always, make sure you have a backup of any file before editing.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

I think that this sort of subject was covered in some depth in the ebay thread!!!!!!!!
I am pretty sure that such offers like this have no place here. Moderators??

Fly in, yes I changed the naufacturer line but there is a when I'm selecting the current plane saying the aircraft is incomplete or something like that. (How can Iadd apic to show you the exact message?)

One question that might appear stupid but it seems so obvious that most people never mention it. Did you exit FS9 before editing the CFG?

Think, maybe he was just offering to give him that trial version.  Don't immediately think he's pirating and go off to tell on him!

DAVE3CU I finally managed to change the aircraft's manufacturer.

But here's the message appears every time I'm selecting the aircraft.

"Flight Simulator has detected potentially incompatible aircraft or software"

And below shows the destination "C:\....\Concorde.mdl"

And asks if Iwant to load the aircraft. If Iclick "Yes" the airctaft loads normally without a problem (At least I haven't noticed any) but I hate seeing this message every time I'm selecting the aircrat.

PS: Can you suggest me any good model of Concorde? I've downloaded the Concorde of FS2002

You're honestly going to tell me it sounded even remotely like he was referring to the trial version? ::)
