How???

Postby cspyro21 » Wed Sep 21, 2005 12:09 pm

Hi all,
I have downloaded the AP Designs Harrier FA-2, and I can't get it to hover. Instead, when I vector the thrust, it tips the nose downwards to the ground, regardless that I pull up.
For a while I have vectored it once (by pressing F5 once) but even then I have to fight the aircraft as it noses down slightly.
  Thanks  ;)

FS dynamics wont allow the harrier to hover. However you can fly slowly forward sideways and backwards. When are you rotating the nozzels? if your doing it at high speed you will fly off in weird directions.

best bet, and charlie will be able to better help with procedures. But Harrier pilots will slow to around 120 knots i believe and engage the first stage and use it to slow down a little, then the next stage a little slower and so on. But Charlie might know the procedures better.
