FS9 changing config file behind my back

I have the following poroblem:
ALWAYS when i start FS the startup screen will show.

If i put the switch in the config to 0, it is OVERWRITTEN at startup for some reason...

Here's what my fs9.cfg entries look like:

[STARTUP]
DEMO=0
LOADSIM=1
LOADWINDOW=1
SHOW_OPENING_SCREEN=1
STARTUP_DEMO=

May I suggest resetting FS9 Startup Options from this screen then (S)aving fs9.cfg (if editing does not work)
P.S. Finding and editing my fs9.cfg is simple as it's on my desktop :-)
