FS Screen

Postby JetPilot » Fri Sep 09, 2005 2:26 pm

Hi,
Wondering whether you could help me with a little problem. I am using FS Screen and to take a screenshot of just the active window (FS), i have to use ALT + Printscreen. Problem is the ALT opens the menu at the top and so all my screenshots have the menu in.
Is there a way round this problem aprt from copying into paste.
Thanks

Well I find I only need to press prnt/scrn myself.  ::)
I am assuming you are using YAFSScreen? If not get it here as it is really super and you just press a shortcut to start it (it runs in the background) and then prnt/scren for taking pics.

Get it here:

For an Easier Screenshot program try www.Irfanview.com, you can configure it to take multipul screen shots by pressing CTRL and F11.

Sorry Saitek,
Try YAFSScreen but i still have to use ALT + Printscreen

Does anyone know how to change the windows options to make taking screenshots of an active window by just pressing Printscreen, or is anyone willing to fiddle with an existing program to make this possible.

Am about to try IrfanView.
Cheers,

FSScreen is one of the best screencapture programs. May I suggest instead of using the Active Window command simply use the prt/scrn command and edit the screenshot as required using Irfanview; alternately, just use Irfanview as suggested. Not all screencapture programs are created equal and FSScreen will give sharp(er) images.

P.S. Snapper is another good screencapture program, especially for use with FS9
