Hang on guys, let's not get too cliquish here.  Sparky may just be uninitiated to what constitutes morals and what doesn't.  It's easy to say 'Go away.'  It's harder to help a person understand where he may be in error about something.  Give the man a chance to understand what SimV is all about before we pass judgement on him.  I truly believe we have the best bunch of regulars on the web gathered here.  Let's show that side to him.  I also suspect that perhaps the T word may be rearing it's ugly head here, but let's give him a chance first...

I don't think it is a question of being cliquish, Sparky came to this site/forum by free will.  He made his views very, very clear. He accused Simv of being no better than the ebay freeware pirates. Then he points his finger in our direction for his virus problems and the says that admin and mods are messing about with his account. Sorry, but brotherly love and patience can only go so far.

Please, do you think any one of us Mods even has the time or energy to "play" with Sparky's account?
The mere fact he even said what he did shows he thinks everybody is out to get him!

Queeg foolishly defends his action in the strawberries incident, babbling on and on, rolling two steel balls in his hand, cracking under questioning:

They were all disloyal. I tried to run the ship properly by the book, but they fought me at every turn...Ah, but the strawberries! That's, that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes, but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt, and with, with geometric logic, that, that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox did exist. And I would have produced that key had they not pulled the Caine out of action. I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officer.

Excellent movie.  The book was even better.  You should read Greenwald's speech about soap...

Every now and again there are reminders if we need em, why this site is such an amazing place.

This post is one, when you look at how it started, the stuff it dealt with and how it did it, and where it has eventually got to. Really great stuff.

And clipper's little post about losing his moon is another one.

This really is a terrific community and I'm really proud to be a part of it. Guys, thank you one and all for making this place what it is.

It is indeed a great place to be.

This community, regardless of all of us wierdos, is probably the only place in the planet that is untainted by idiotism-psycosis. ;D And, regretably, there are no medications nor treatment for idiotism-psycosis. :(

A lot of us may exhibit symptoms of mania [lack of sleep, loss of apetite, overconfidence of one's powers] and Ozzyism [tendency to fly spits under bridges in an inverted position, always talking about spits, combined with symptoms of mania], we would never stoop so low as to send viruses.

We are just too d'am busy being locked up in padded rooms with straitjackets and shackles and I have too many patients here in SimV to take care of. ;D

BTW Sparky, Welcome to SimViation. Bienvenidos al los foros de SimViation. ;D

Ex-pat,

Hum... I might have missed that one.  Did you post it in this thread?

I have found that it seems to take about 2 days, give or take.

Or is it that maybe the idiot signed up again and re-listed the item?

best,

Ex-pat,
that one you posted on
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8217218122&%20fromMakeTrack=true
has about 15 aircraft up for sale, not just one. All added within 5 minutes of the first item, and with 19 odd hours to run, all with the same deal. you pay the money, then he will download your copy from the net, and burn it to cd for you... yeah, right!
