A question for the small group of people that champion the sellling of freeware.
If when I write a piece of software and upload it to SimV as freeware, and state it as such, with the usual stuff, not to be sold, or used personal gain etc. Just use it and have fun, do you then think that you have the right to take my work, that I have said is available for free and sell it to line you own pocket
I realise you are not actually doing so (I hope), but as you are willing to defend it, justify it. The guy is not "passing on"; he is selling something that he does not own. The copies write remains with the author. Also in many freeware packages will be an example below, or words to that effect.
This is FREEWARE. These files are strictly for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any redistribution, repackaging or reselling of these files in any form is expressly prohibited without the permission of the authors.
Maybe you can explain why you think that this is a worthless statement.
Matt
PS before anyone asks I cannot produce software. Anyone who can is a God of the white magic box that sits under my desk. I am a user of freeware and I am very grateful to people who spend time effort and sometimes money to produce add-ons for people with two left feet, such as myself when it comes to computers.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
