He's probably afraid that might reveal too many details as to how the aircraft in this so-called payware might really be.

I got the automated reply from the EBay rights violation department that says they are investigating the situation.

By the way........ look at his feedback.  And WHY someone makes a negative comment like some of those and then files a "neutral" response is beyond me.

Guys alas this isn't the first time, and I'm sure it won't be the last time!
One person here tried this a while back, we chased that idiot out of SimV. It is good to be aware of these dodgy characters... they aren't true members of this wonderful hobby of ours, alas there are always self-centered jerks even in our hobby :(

Tried what exactly ??? ???

By the time they finish investigating, that guy or girl will make off with a lot of money and will easily change his identity.

EDIT: What's surprising is that one has to register [with credit info and everything] just to make contact with someone like that. Ebay either needs rework or needs a total shutdown.

I found a guy once and reported it here about 18 months back or something. He was selling expensive payware from companies (copies). I think Doug and others wrote then. Happens all the time and it is hard to control. I guess we should write though if we find rather than ignore it.

You will find that sending complaints DOES help........

his offering of this piece of "stolen goods" has already been discontinued..... supposedly because it was "lost or broken".  Gee I guess all EIGHT of them he listed must have fallen off the shelf  :) ;) :D ;D :P

Same thing happened the last time we started reporting a guy.

We may not be able to STOP it... but we can make it difficult.

Hey a question guys. Anybody wanna come download all those planes AND install them for me.  :o That would be worth the money. There is nothing like realizing you have downloaded 50 planes from simV and then you have to extract them and install or copy and paste. Man the hard work. I can't take it anymore. Please somebody help my addiction.  Who wants a job working for me installing freeware. I have taken the hint from these dorks selling on ebay and have decided that your salary will be all the freeware you want. Ahhh the American way. ;D

Guys, one thing you have to remember. It's not a good a idea to send that man a virus. What's better is that you find him, approach him and then kick him in the groin. ;D

One kick for every pirated plane addon. ;D

OK, I am going to  play the devils advocate here.  Please hear me out.

The first guy is obviously a thieving jerk as his feedback so plainly shows but the second guy may actually be performing a useful (and legal) service.  People who do not have broadband might find it worthwhile paying for the CD.  He does state that the software is freeware and that the purchaser is paying for the convenience of having it delivered to them on CD.  Think you all might be a little hard on the guy. IMHA sending him a virus would make you worse than him.

That lil freak on E-Bay even got feedback saying that they paid for the product & the lil freak never sent it to them. If E-Bay can't stop idiot's from doing deceiving things like that, then EBay really should be shut down. That is something they should be able to control & EBay as well as the seller should be responsible for it. Instead of just banning this person, Ebay should take legal action against this person. The have his credit card info so it is possible.
