This is a very simple question: Is there any way for running MS FS 2004 without having disc 4 inserted in the CD drive?
I happen to have such cd4 cracked from its center outwards and the crack reached the data zone... it doesn

No-Cd crack. You can find it in various places on the net, just google it. Make sure you look for the right version, there are some out there for the patched version.

Google for 'fs91noCD.zip' for version FS9.1, or 'fs90noCD.zip' for FS9.0. It's a simple replacement of the fs9.exe file in the root folder. (Don't erase the original - just rename it.)

To find out your version, find fs9.exe and right click it. In 'properties' there's a 'version' tab which will either say 9.0 plus other numbers, or 9.1 plus other numbers.

Send the original cracked disk back to Microsoft and they will be able to replace it for you.
